Day 30: A friend
I just realized I never posted the last photo of my June challenge. This was at a Rosanne Cash concert as part of the International Festival of Arts and Ideas (we went to it on one of our nights off as a little excursion). This guy was everyone’s friend. He was having a great time. Not pictured: his tie-dyed shoes, socks, and shorts.

Day 28: on your shelf

Day 27: bathroom
Pretty nice in college dorm standards. Which is sad.

Day 25: something cute
You know I bought a Yale sweatshirt when on the campus tour. It was legitimately cool, though, and I didn’t have one with me so I totally needed it (I will not be purchasing merch from every college. My loyalty is with NU and I’m poor haha). I’ve been wanting a quarter zip sweatshirt so this worked out well, and I think it’s adorable.

Day 24: What’s on your mind
New England things! First up, a campus tour of Yale. In the upcoming weeks, Harvard, UConn, Boston College, Columbia, and NYU! (depending on which ones I get assigned to).

Day 23: From a high angle
My plane flew over Northwestern!
gradschoolroundtwo:

2 months of clothes, teaching materials, electronics, bedding, and personal items barely fit (but they do fit!) in a carry-on suitcase and “personal item” messenger bag. Thank you, father Pilot, for teaching me how to pack light and pack well. The majority of the bulk is computer and medication lol.
Flying out in the morning, hopefully bright and early, so this will be the last post on this blog (with the exception of one that I have queued). If I get bumped to a later flight expect some snarky annoyance posts over on my other blog (since I’m only logged in on my phone app to that account).
I’m relaxing with my lovely ativan so I can hopefully sleep tonight (the stuff works wonders - I’m not even freaking about the actual flying part right now, which is great. I’m more freaked out about the 2 months away from home far away, which is kinda sad since I’m 25).
As soon as I land and get settled on the shuttle that’s taking me on a road trip to my destination, I’ll try to get a post out, and definitely by tomorrow night to let you know how it was.

reblogging myself to give you an update…no worries though, I have tons of queued stuff for all of you. And this is the blog I’m signed into on my app so as long as I have reception I can post updates and pics throughout the day.
ta ta for now!
(EDIT: I’m making this my June Photo Challenge photo of the day: Movement…as in I’m moving to New England for the summer)

Day 21: Where you slept
one of my last nights in this bed for two months. It’s so comfy.

Day 20: Favorite photo you’ve ever taken
Here is a series because I couldn’t pick just one (no filter on these). In Aug 2009 my roommate and I went out to the rocks alongside Lake Michigan in Evanston to watch the sunrise over the lakefill after we had graduated and on one of the last days we’d be living together. All Northwestern students should do this at least once.

Day 19: Imperfect.

Day 18: Something we don’t know about you
I was in a production of Cabaret in college. I’m in the handstand.

Day 17: in your bag
Preparing for my rehearsal: canvas bag, Macbook to videotape it, socks, CD, ballet shoes, ginger Altoids, wallet, and water. Not pictured: sunglasses and keys.

Day 16: Out and about.
Rainy and disgustingly hot = books and movie sort of day. I didn’t leave the house so this will have to do :P

Day 15: Yellow.
Fun construction traffic I wasn’t anticipating.
