POP COUTUREVIA NOMEVENDASLAMOTO

I miss the 90s. I had an outfit like this. I want to bring it back.

"Most of our childhood is stored not in photos, but in certain biscuits, lights of day, smells, textures of carpet…"

We have a replica of this in my hometown.
I used to read these books all the time as a kid. Maybe that’s where my love of list-making comes from. It was engrained early.

  • Day 15: your parallel universe self
  • She works at the Museum of Natural History in the Human Origins hall as a research assistant by day, and is a work-study student at Broadway Dance Center by night. She comes home to her converted attic studio in Greenwich Village in one of these adorable townhouses.
  • Not pictured: the parallel universe self living in Seattle and owning her own used bookstore/wine and coffee bar/knitting store.

Day 14: sentimental
The Lego Santa that my brother put together sometime around the time I was born. We put it out every year, and someone always takes it apart and then spends 30 minutes trying to put it back together since it’s surprisingly challenging.

Anonymous asked: what's your favourite childhood holiday memory?

I don’t know about specific memories, but when I was in elementary school it was always exciting when the UPS truck would go down the street and slow down so I thought we were getting presents. Or when I’d come home from school and new presents would be under the tree. (I was a bit of a greedy child). I have other memories, I’m sure, but that’s just the one that came to mind.

Day 04: Nostalgia
I found a bunch of college textbooks when I was home for Thanksgiving; these are two in particular that I really enjoyed. I miss the days of taking awesome classes and electives for fun. I’m going to re-read these once my finals are done.
holy nostalgia.
love this Britney.
