Day 04: Nostalgia
I found a bunch of college textbooks when I was home for Thanksgiving; these are two in particular that I really enjoyed. I miss the days of taking awesome classes and electives for fun. I’m going to re-read these once my finals are done.

Day 25: something cute
You know I bought a Yale sweatshirt when on the campus tour. It was legitimately cool, though, and I didn’t have one with me so I totally needed it (I will not be purchasing merch from every college. My loyalty is with NU and I’m poor haha). I’ve been wanting a quarter zip sweatshirt so this worked out well, and I think it’s adorable.

Day 04: Close Up
The 2012 NCAA National Championship women’s lacrosse trophy. Northwestern University lacrosse won their 7th championship in 8 years last week.

Our initial series of YB Supply candles are now available! This collection provokes thoughts of fresh cut grass, afternoons by the lake, and a cozy library study (some people are writing a thesis). Visit the shop and smell!

I am so excited to go to this place. I’ve never been to Forest Park but it’s only like 45 minutes from where I live, so I can make the journey. According to their Facebook page, these candles are $22 each. That’s more than I’d like to spend, but I am intrigued and will definitely check it out.

Anonymous asked: Why did you quit?

I’m assuming this is in reply to the sorority question? Anyway, I was too busy - the women in the house were great, so it had nothing to do with that. The chapter meetings overlapped with my dance classes/rehearsals, and the few special events they were planning conflicted with performance dates. I didn’t feel like paying $500/quarter or whatever it was when I couldn’t fully participate.

Anonymous asked: were you in sorority in college?

Not officially. Zeta Tau Alpha was just starting up on my campus, and I was briefly a member of the first group of women, but I deactivated/left before initiation.

omg yes.
