Anonymous asked: you missed the "pablo picasso" tag on the picture of the old man with the cat. It's him. And I'm your busting your boobs. (is that the equivalent of "busting your balls"? haha)
oh, my bad. Honestly, I had no idea that’s who it was. Thanks for the info! Learn something new every day.
And as for part two of your statement…I have no idea what the equivalent would be…you raise an interesting question on idioms.
Anonymous asked: Did you do ballet in the past?
I did! And actually today I just went to my first ballet class in probably 5+ months. :)
Anonymous asked: What is your pinterest name? I'd love to follow your beautiful pictures! Thanks, Tawny
Hi Tawny,

Anonymous asked: You should watch bunheads! its all about dance and drama! but I hear the dance portion of the series is really good!
haha thanks! And I do, actually. Well, I did the first season. My cable company doesn’t have ABC Family so I’ll have to watch it online at some point soon :)

What would you like to have in 2013 that you lacked in 2012?
What dates from 2012 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
What was your biggest achievement of the year?

Thank you, Sonja :) This made my day a little brighter. Cheers!
Anonymous asked: I actually have that exact same lego santa thing and I had to put it back together this christmas cause it broke in storage. It's so entertaining.
haha right? I always get really nervous when I take it apart because at somepoint I panic that I can’t get it back together.
Anonymous asked: what's your favourite childhood holiday memory?
I don’t know about specific memories, but when I was in elementary school it was always exciting when the UPS truck would go down the street and slow down so I thought we were getting presents. Or when I’d come home from school and new presents would be under the tree. (I was a bit of a greedy child). I have other memories, I’m sure, but that’s just the one that came to mind.
Anonymous asked: Can we follow you on Instagram?
Yes, but I’d like to know who you are :) If you send me a follow request on instagram and then send me a non-anon message on here to let me know you requested, (I won’t publish it) I’ll be more likely to accept.
I post most of my instagram photos on here anyway, but the reason I don’t have it completely open is that I sometimes post things that are more personal (e.g. would reveal where I work and, photos of me and my friends, etc.)
Anonymous asked: what are your views on premarital sex?
I say do what you want: I have friends who are waiting until marriage (for religious or other personal reasons), and I have friends who are most definitely not. It’s not my place to make a value judgement on their choices. All of my friends are great people, as they wouldn’t be friends of mine if they weren’t, so what they do or don’t do in their bedroom with their partners is none of my business.
I think as long as you are mature and responsible enough to handle the potential consequences (physical, emotional, fetus), then whatever you decide is fine. I’ve known people though who were most definitely not ready for the consequences despite thinking they were, and it wasn’t pretty. Personally, I also think you should really know the person you’re with (if for no other reason than safety) and really care about them.
Anonymous asked: Do you use the queue?
oh yeah. I’m a little OCD about it. I couldn’t maintain my blogging habit without it, though, since my schedule is crazy.
Anonymous asked: Are you getting your Ph.D?
Haha not yet. Currently finishing up my Master’s degree. All in good time though…once I figure out an area of academe I’m willing to commit eight-ish years of my life researching.
Anonymous asked: How many followers do you have? (w/proof please).
okay…

(whoa - my posts count is eerily similar.)
Anonymous asked: What's your national heritage?
My dad’s side is 100% German (either his parents are grandparents came over - I forget which), and my mom’s side has been in the U.S. forever, but before that was likely German/Norwegian/something similar.
