Oh great question. I’m not sure. I would say either when I saw Alice Ripley in Next to Normal, or seeing the national tour of Wicked in person (specifically the dancing).

A quick note
Listening to “Dammit Janet” from the OBC of Rocky Horror Show…I would have never realized it’s the same actress (Alice Ripley) as Next to Normal…she sounds so different! Except for when she says “I love youuuuuuuu” in her umlaut-ish way or however only she can.

Next to Normal
What an amazing, emotional show. The music is amazing. The performances were amazing. Normally I’m more articulate, but my mind was blown by this show. I loved it (and that’s saying a lot, because if the show isn’t choreography/dance-intensive, I’m not usually a fan…with the exception of Rent, and now Next to Normal).
