While away this summer I learned a few chords when my friend was playing guitar, and I decided I wanted to learn to play guitar sooner rather than later (after all, it is an item on my very long bucket list). Taking a cue from Cassie and her Three Month Projects, I decided to make learning guitar my two-week project between coming home from my summer in Connecticut a week ago and moving into a new place and starting my real life job next week. Fortunately my dad has had an acoustic guitar** forever that he never uses, so I snatched it. I can consistently play and alternate between like five chords at this point, which is enough to play and sing along to about 10 songs I love from the 90’s - so far, so good. **should I be concerned my dad’s guitar case is lined in pink fur? Granted he bought in the 60’s or 70’s, but still.
